Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on 20 July 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, from NASA, the Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of space tourism. Kristin's parents are both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now worked as an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. While covering the two presidential impeachment cases as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and the two administrations' attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other things. Additionally, she traveled with President Trump and Vice President Biden extensively. This included a secret trip with him to Afghanistan. Prior to joining the network in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through the local news channels including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin as an experienced filmmaker, established Field Mouse Films, a firm that is specialized in documentary-style films with clients like Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Journalism from Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
